Abstract: In this session, Framestore's CG supervisor Prashant Nair covers everything from creature development to complex performances and high-end worldbuilding featured in His Dark Materials, HBO’s TV thriller about a seemingly ordinary but brave young woman from another world who uncovers a sinister plot involving stolen children and a mysterious phenomenon called Dust. Nair will also delve into how Framestore's talented artists brought film-quality visual effects to the small screen.
Speaker(s) Bio:
Prashant Nair has close to two decades of CG/VFX experience for film, TV, gaming, commercials, and mobile games and has worked on multiple BAFTA, VES and Academy Award-winning projects. Since joining Framestore in 2019, he has applied his expertise on His Dark Materials and The King’s Man and has, most recently, been a key team member in helping set-up the facility's new Mumbai-based studio.
