Abstract:
Optimization techniques are an essential component of most algorithms and systems used in visual computing. This course will offer a tutorial for one specific class of optimization techniques, integer programming. Due to the discrete nature of many application problems, integer programming is a very important tool that any practitioner in visual computing should know about.
